2. Description of Service

FlipperScanner provides AI-powered item identification and resale value appraisal for personal use by resellers, collectors, and thrift shoppers. Our service uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos and provide estimated resale values based on market data.

3. Appraisal Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: FlipperScanner appraisals are estimates only and should not be relied upon as professional appraisals. Values provided are based on AI analysis and general market data and may not reflect actual sale prices. We are not licensed appraisers. Always verify values independently before making significant buying or selling decisions.

4. Free and Paid Tiers

• Free tier: Limited to 5 scans per day. Includes advertisements. No account required.
• Pro tier: $19.99/month. 200 scans per month. No advertisements. Requires account.
• Dealer tier: $49.99/month. 1,000 scans per month. All Pro features plus additional tools. Requires account.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
• No refunds are provided for partial months
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent scan limits or access controls
• Upload images that are illegal, harmful, or violate others' rights
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy our service
• Use automated tools to access the service
• Resell or redistribute our appraisal data commercially

7. Intellectual Property

FlipperScanner and its content including the app design, branding, and technology are owned by FlipperScanner and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy or reproduce any part of the service without written permission.

8. User Content

By uploading images to FlipperScanner you grant us a limited license to process those images for the purpose of providing appraisals. We do not claim ownership of your images and do not permanently store them.

9. Limitation of Liability

FlipperScanner is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from your use of the service including financial losses from buying or selling decisions made based on our appraisals.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.
